"Have you left your apartment yet?" she asked.
"No, but I'm about to," I said.
"Wear a thick coat today... today will be VERY cold!" she emphasized.
If there's one thing I don't like about winter, it's the amount of clothing I have to put on. Ugh! Leggings / innerwear, tops, jerseys, scarves, caps, gloves, coats. It's too much for me! And I get warm very quickly.
Anyways, I didn't change into anything else and figured I'd spend the day in the 6th Grade teachers room where the floor would be heated, and I can sit on the floor (as Koreans do anyway).
The minute I stepped out of my apartment building, a biting cold air hit my face. Damn! It really was cold. I walked quickly to school and spent most of the day in the teachers room writing. (Remember our school is closed for the week because of H1N1)
When it was time to go home at 5pm, I was told that the temperature was -2 degrees! The walk from school to my apartment made my fingers prune as if I was in water.
Well... Helllllloooo Winter!
